We are seeking older artists, educators, authors, craftsmen and craftswomen, poets, musicians, entrepreneurs and others who share in our vision to live and work in a small intentional community with an eclectic group of creative people.
In addition to housing, we envision both public and private spaces to support working artists and community programs taught by village residents and partnering organizations. The Artists Village will attract members who are interested in giving back to the community at large through mentoring programs for both seniors and youth at risk.
We are currently seeking a site in South Salt Lake’s new Downtown Corridor and Arts District which encompasses a 126 Acre urban Renewal Area between 200 West to State Street and 2100 South to 2700 South. South Salt Lake’s robust revitalization plans share in our value for community involvement in the design process and provides unparalleled access to public transportation and walkable shops and services. It is also sized to support neighborhood entrepreneurs.
Our vision is to offer a variety of housing and art space options, making it accessible to anyone who shares in our ideals.
